Fast and Furious 1-4 is ideal for sitting back and letting oneself be entertained with minimal brain effort
Actually all the American cars have small block Chevy’s in them with Turbo 400 Trans’. The movie car builder (Dennis McCarty with Vehicle FX) wanted engine consistency in case there was a problem so his crew would only have to have parts and spares for one engine type. I’m a Mopar guy and reading that all the ‘70 Chargers (they used nine in the film) have small block Chevys was lame, but also being a film producer (Hot Rod Girls Save The World, Rat Rod Rockers!), I understand why they made the decision to go the way they did. Also several of the Chargers have Charger 500 emblems on the rear and R/T emblems on the side (they were either/or in real life). All the blowers were fake. The Charger engine in the garage scenes were a 528-inch Mopar Performance crate motor (not a 426). For verification check Mopar Action Magazine June 2009.
how can the blowers be fake, when he pushes on the petal the engine blows the air out perfectly just like a real one.
Im a 56 yr old woman who knows her cars , i drive a 99 LS1 Torch Red Corvette and came out of walmart and saw a tractor trailer rig with some odd cars i knew them as soon as i saw them . it was the BMW M5, the Buick Gmx , the primer Chevelle ,and of course the black Charger .of ya the orange truck with flat bed a duel pipes going up .. and on it the trailor said Sony Movie Cars . i took several pictures . and meet the driver . they had been in Miami and the way back to LA. with the cars .You could see the roll bars inside . it was a cool day for a old lady . Hello DA Sebastian. Thanks for sharing great information
Keep ‘em coming, their greatly appreciated
Hey Zackery, we could only hope that there would still be a next movie based on the Tokyo Drift theme. Though the plot was quite flimsy, the cars and the drifting races were great!

okay in the movie i know for a fact that the charger has alot more after market parts than they have listed !!!!
fast and furios5
ya them muscle cars in there will beat them tuners any day of the week
1970 Chevelle has got to be the badest muscle car of all time. Man……..If only I had been just a little older in 1970!
I LIKE VERY VERY THIS CARS ! ! !
you need to have more muscle cars and trucks in the movie and take the fuel injection and put it back to carb and put the original front end on the 69 dodge charger. and you got to bring back the 69 chevelle. that is my thoughts.
i like the Dodge Charger R/T really awesome love to ride that car
